A sensual expression of purpose, form and passion...
ÆROS Vintage 2003 is the fifth Cabernet Sauvignon ever produced by Goosecross Cellars in this Collector Series of wines. "ÆROS labeled wines are reserved for those that enjoy the exhilarating experience of rich, flavorful, complex and well balanced wines", explains Goosecross winemaker Geoff Gorsuch. "This wine presents outstanding quality and blends our passion for winemaking with the art of design".
This unique ÆROS vintage consists of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon from the prestigious and highly-prized Howell Mountain appellation, blended with 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa "valley floor".
Initially forged by a jeweler, the ÆROS label, unveiled with vintage 1992, is made of nickel and copper and was the first metal label in the industry.
The resulting 2003 wine offers lush berry and black cherry flavors accented by hints of clove, leather, mint, licorice almond and vanilla oak. This finely structured vintage, with its long dusty tannins, presents a seductive, smoky quality that is smooth, round, balanced and beautifully expressive. ÆROS will age gracefully for years to come when cellared.

Wineries of Napa Valley recently introduced an extended food and wine pairing menu. The menu consists of several "flights" of three wines each, paired with elaborate antipasti plates, provided by Christopher's Fine Foods. The menu, which is offered in outdoor cafe style with live music, is available from 4-7pm each Saturday this Summer.
"Wineries of Napa Valley is dedicated to providing public availability to hard-to-find wines made by small, family-owned wineries - the hidden gems of Napa," says manager Pamela Topper. Wineries of Napa Valley announced today that it will support the annual Napa Valley Chef's Market by sponsoring a wine education and tasting booth in the Napa Town Center. The Market occurs in the Town Center every Friday night from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend to promote and highlight the valley's best food and wine.
"Wineries of Napa Valley is dedicated to providing public availability to hard-to-find wines made by small, family-owned wineries - the hidden gems of Napa," says manager Pamela Topper. "The Chef's Market occurs right outside our door in the Napa Town Center, and presents the perfect opportunity for us to showcase these exceptional wines as a part of the festivities. The benefit of seven wineries all available in our one location, is that with Chef's Market, we can present all of our wines each week in our tasting room, and we can also present a different winery each week in our outdoor booth."

Goosecross Cellars now offers visitors a new viticulture tour and tasting experience as the summer season begins in Napa Valley. "Our customers are less interested in crowded tasting bars at the larger wineries and are looking for personal and friendly conversation", says proprietor Colleen Topper. "We offer visitors a taste of a small winery and limit our tours to small groups for more personal attention and interaction".
Tours are $15 including a tasting of 5 wines, and are conducted at 11am Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. To contact Goosecross Cellars go to
